Paint a picture with watercolors and salt

Painting is very useful for kids. It develops imagination, creative skills, creative thinking and creativity. To motivate and inspire your kid, offer him/her an unusual technique of painting with watercolor paints and salt.
Needed:

• Watercolors.
• Thick paper (watercolor paper).
• Brushes, a jar of water.
• Сoarse salt.

The technique of painting is as follows: while the watercolor paint on a sheet is still wet, sprinkle it with salt. When the paint becomes dry, shake off the excess salt. Thus you can paint  starry sky, snow, etc.
