Make a colorful photo frme

The quick and easy craft is a perfect gift for Mother's Day!
You'll need:

• thick paper (or cardboard);
• scissors;
• a pencil;
• a ruler;
• a stationery knife;
• gouache;
• a brush;
• a jar of water;
• glue.

Cut out of the cardboard a rectangle of the appropriate size. Draw vertical and horizontal lines to cut out a frame, using the stationery knife.
Sit to the table with the kid, give him/her the frame and gouache.
Let the kid decorate the frame with various patterns. Offer him/her to use bright colors.
When the paints dry, glue the kid's photo or painting/applique/drawing, etc. to the back side of the frame.

Now you are ready for the Mother's Day celebration!
