African savannah for your kid

Your little one surely likes adventures and stories about distant countries! Tell your kid about African savannah and amazing animals who live there. To create the playing area you'll need:

  • a box;
  • sand, stones, grass, branches;
  • figures of various African animals: elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, etc.;
  • a sheet of corrugated cardboard;
  • gouache, a brush, a jar of water.

First at all, make a landscape. Pour the sand to the box, put stones, branches, etc.

Create the background: paint the sky and rocks. You can even paint 2 variants of the background - a day and a night. Paint a dark night sky with large bright stars.

The daytime sky:

Finally, attach the background to the box, fix the tufts of grass with the stones and inhabit the savannah with theĀ animals:

To learn more about African savannah you can also:

  • paint or model savannah animals;
