Touch is vital to healthy baby growth and development! Massage combines care-giving, communication, play and intimacy between a parent and baby. Finger massage is perfect for your little one fine motor skills, helps the baby to learn his/her bidy and develops sensory. Use your thumb and index finger to roll each of baby's fingers from the palm to the tip. You can also play with rattles, making the following massage:
push your thumb into the baby fist, open gently the clenched palm and fingers with sliding movements from the baby's palm to the finger tips;
stroke the baby's palm with your palm, starting between the baby's thumb and forefinger;
stroke with your palm the baby's back of the hand to the fingers;
insert a ring rattle into your baby's palm. Give your little one various rattles - wooden, rubber, felt, velvet, with pimples, corrugated or smooth. Let your baby catch the rattles in different ways.
Make photos of your baby during the process. Write about his/her reaction to the massage.
